Trust in the Lord, no matter what comes your way. I know what you are thinking, “easier said than done”. Believe me; I used to say the same thing until I started to use the words “I trust in the Lord” in my life. Saying these words and actually living by them are not always easy, but with the Lord’s help all things are possible.
I remember a time when I had to really “trust in the Lord”. I remember when they were about to sell/foreclose (because the house was previously under my parent’s name and at the time, it was under my sister’s name) on our house that we have been living in for a long time. It was not easy to see, the “FOR SALE” sign on the front lawn and the big question that the kids and my husband had was “Where are we going to live?” They saw realtors come in and out of the house with potential clients that wanted to buy the house. All I kept saying and trusting in God that we were going to continue to live in the house and not have to leave. My husband was not serving the Lord at the time was doubting and worrying everyday about the house situation, unlike me I slept like a baby with the peace that God provides when you leave your worries and cares to Him for He cares about us. I kept proclaiming and trusting in God that he can do all things that what we see impossible was possible for Him. Thank you Lord! We had less than a month to come up with the money to put the house under our name and keep the house. I prayed, fasted, and continued to trust in the Lord. As the days got closer to the deadline, my husband and kids would ask me more and more on where we are going to live. Doubt was coming over me because I was not seeing the money coming in, but having Faith of a mustard seed, I kept telling them, we are staying put, we are not going anywhere in the name of Jesus! Nothing is impossible for Jesus! I believed and trusted in the promises He left for us in the Bible for our everyday lives. When you trust in the Lord, he is always faithful and arrives at his perfect timing. The day before the deadline, we had the money needed to put a down payment on the house. The very next day which was the “deadline day” we bought the house and it is under our name. To this date, we are currently still living in our home. Glory to God! I’m so grateful to God that he helped me through by trusting in Him and Him only.

Prayer
Lord Jesus, I will “trust” in you with all my heart. I know that there will be times that it will not be easy, I ask you to help me get through, come what may. I will not depend on my own understanding because you know what is best for me. Lord, I will seek your will in all I do and serve you the best I can and be confident that you will show me which path to take on this journey of life. In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Blessings my dear sister!! Thank you for your great testimony. As my paid work is diminishing and I had to take a week off without pay, I've had to hold on and believe God. I slept last night like a baby. In fact I slept so well, that when I woke up this morning I was in the same position as when I went to sleep. Today is the 1st and there is no monies in the checking account for rent, yet I am looking forward to another night of undisturbed peace and rest.
